Cambalache -Son Jarocho Made in East La

June 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$15 - $35

The musicians in Cambalache are from LA’s Eastside & Veracruz, where the sounds of everyday life have sonic histories in Black and Brown music making. Cambalache which means “exchange” is Chicano-Son Jarocho music – a mix of indigenous Mexican, African, Spanish and Arabic sounds that draws the audience in to participate in the spirit of the fandango.
